For the better regulating elections of members to serve in parliament for counties, cities and towns corporate where the right of voting is in the freeholders only, or in freeholders and freemen, and for ascertaining the qualification of persons to vote at such elections, and to direct the proceedings of sheriffs and other officers in the electing and returning such members. |
