Title To amend and render more effectual an act passed in the 26th, and an amendment of said act passed in the 28th years of the reign of his majesty King GeorgeĀ III entitled an act to establish the business of a pawnbroker, and to authorize such persons as shall be duly qualified to carry on the same to lend money on pawns or pledges, and to receive interest at a higher rate than heretofore was recoverable by law.
