To prevent the mischiefs arising from the credit given by retailers of spirituous liquors, and to prevent the evil arising by the retailers of strong beer, ale, porter or other strong fermented liquors, giving credit to servants, day-labourers, and other persons who usually work or ply for hire or wages. |
